Transporting Gas Cylinders Safely

Gas Safe Interactive has tailored this on-line workshop to suit delegates who transport gas cylinders in or on service vehicles. It is primarily aimed at people who transport cylinders in small to medium quantities however it also gives guidance on what you should do when carrying a large load.

The workshop is very competitively priced at just £4.75 + VAT per delegate.

At the end of the interactive workshop participants will be able to:

  • Determine the transport category for the gas(es) they are transporting
  • Determine the transport units applicable to their gas cylinders
  • Calculate their loads Total Load Transport Units to identify whether it is above or below its threshold limit
  • Take the appropriate action before they start a journey transporting gas cylinders
  • Introduce safer working practices into their workplace

Please note it is only possible to study this workshop in conjunction with one of our on-line gas cylinder safety workshops; it cannot be studied on its own.
